PART-TIME CUSTODIAL SUBSTITUTE – NORTHWOOD SCHOOL
To begin May 1, 2008.

 

FULL-TIME CUSTODIAN - STRAFFORD SCHOOL
To begin June 1st.
Second shift 3-11 PM during school year.
First shift 7-3 during summer and school vacations.

 

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME - SAU
Providing occupation therapy services for a K-8 elementary school.
N.H. certification and license required.

 

NURSE – SUBSTITUTE – NORTHWOOD/NOTTINGHAM/STRAFFORD
Substitutes for the school nurse on an as needed basis.
RN license required.

 

ANTICIPATED OPENINGS 2008-2009

 

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - NOTTINGHAM & NORTHWOOD SCHOOLS
NH certified/certifiable in special education required. Certification in other special education areas (ED, LD) preferred. Experience working with a variety of disabilities including students on the autism spectrum and/or with emotional/behavioral difficulties. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Successful experience and/or training in the field. Skill to provide direct instruction to targeted individuals or groups. Committed to inclusion model. Collaborative with teachers and paraprofessionals. Knowledgeable of case manager responsibilities including referral and identification process, meeting facilitation. Skilled in test administration, interpretation and report writing. HQT in reading and math preferred. Computer skills required.

 

K-8 WORLD LANGUAGE TEACHER – STRAFFORD SCHOOL
This program was established to develop an appreciation for, and knowledge of, world cultures and foreign languages in elementary and middle school students in preparation for in-depth study at the secondary level. Experience is preferred. Candidates should be qualified to teach both French and Spanish, hold N.H. Teaching Certification in Foreign Language, be HQT, and be enthusiastic about teaching world cultures and languages.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR – NORTHWOOD SCHOOL
Full-time/permanent.
N.H. certification and license required.
